Last week I stopped at Advance to pick up a bulb for the 3rd brake light on the 87. There was no application chart so I went to the counter. They indicated it was a 9** something bulb that looked something like a side marker or instrument panel bulb on steroids. Today I got around to replacing it and found the correct bulb to be an 889 halogen. Returned to Advance to be told that those bulbs have been discontinued and are no longer available and there's no alternate bulb.
Got my money back for the incorrect bulb, went to O'Reilly's and got one of the half dozen or so 889's on the rack. Thought about buying up all their stock to raise money for my retirement fund since they're 'no longer available'.

when monday to buy a battery and asked for the discount, the guy looked everywhere on that computer and never found georgia fieros.

He didn't look everywhere. I just bought something today at the Lawrenceville store and they pulled it up. Chaz also bought something at that store this week on the club discount. If any store can't find it, call me and I'll tell them how to operate their computer. Did you get the battery anyway?

The GE 889 can also be found as GE 12336.
mypartsgarage.com has them as the 889 for $1.79
Most other places want $11 and up for them.
