Title: 2008 Polar Bear Run
Post by: Fierofool on December 15, 2008, 10:14:31 am: The 2008 Polar Bear Run is coming up the Saturday after Christmas. If anyone has any information please post it here. It starts in Stone Mountain.

Post by: TopNotch on December 15, 2008, 02:16:21 pm: This is a wonderful event. Sports cars of all kinds are invited, from expensive one to ancient ones. In the past, we've seen Ferraris and Lotuses in it. Besides, it fun to watch those roadster guys brave the cold while we keep our t-tops and sunroofs on. (Of course, you can take them off if you want to.) And I know exactly where that Outback where we're going to meet is, having lived in that area once.

weather.com (http://www.weather.com/weather/wxdetail/USGA0027?dayNum=3) says there's a 30% chance of rain that day. At least it won't be cold (66*F) and it'll just be scattered showers. Last year it was a bit colder and there was almost constant rain :P. I'll probably bring my MR2 because my '86 Fiero is waiting for repairs in my Dad's garage and I only just recently got my '88 back on the road.
