Please explain in more detail what you mean by "window rubbers". There are pads on the inside of the window, and there are "dew wipes" on both the inside and outside. If you mean the outer dew wipes. there are several videos on the replacment process in my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/88dukecoupe).

Paul,
Our daughter Shanine is actually quite good at doing headliners. She has done a couple. With or without sunroof?

The dew-wipes, which I am sure you are refering to, can be rather tideous, I've had to do a couple of them. Especially, if the screws are rusty.

Send me a PM if you need more info.

It is a tedious job to replace the outer dew wipes.  The 84 wipes are different from the later years, so be sure you've got the correct ones before starting replacement.  The job is a little easier if you have the dew wipe removal tool.  It helps in removing the screws that are blocked by the window.

I can replace them for you, but I can't give you a flat rate price.  I'll do it on an hourly basis.  If you're interested, email or PM me

I guess it depends on what type of headliner you want. We usually replace ours with felt. Very cheap, approx $ 4.00. Spray adhesive is also very cheap - 3M 80, approx $6.00 a can. Labor is very very very expensive; at least two 6 packs of beer (German!)  ;D If our daughter does it, even more expensive! three 6 packs! (I collect all beer from her and give her soda instead, manager's fee)

You can buy regular headliner material at Hancock Fabrics for under $15, which is enough to do the car.

I can replace your dew wipes and do them correctly, but I won't modify any to make them work.  I've probably replaced close to a dozen sets, but I've never replaced any on an 84.  It's the same process as all other years.  As I recommended, check with DIYStu.  He personally makes them so he would know if there's a difference.  Or call The Fiero Factory and ask them if there's a difference.  Once we know for sure, we can go from there.

Before you start, order yourself a Rodney Dickman Dew Wipe tool.  Makes the job easier, though not easy.  About $10 and shipping.
