There was an article on AOL tonight about a bunch of MINI'S making a run on Tail of the Dragon. Under comments after the article it seems I am not the only one to do it in a 40' RV. Someone wrote that they had done it in a 40' RV towing a truck. Just like me he said he got on it accidentaly and could not get off. :o
Maybe I ought to organize an RV run to show how well these big rigs handle winding roads. ;D

Large vehicles are a risk to everyone else on The Dragon.
The MINI thing is an annual event. Apparently, it's called MINI Tail of the Dragon. I heard that The Dragon is shut down for everyone else.
It sounds as if you go up, and come back the way uou went up, but surely not, because some people use it as a shortcut.
