Hi guys I have a 88 fiero with a 3.4 conversion done at a shop in Roswell
who abandon the project they are no longer in business. The car does have the
3.4 engine in the engine bay along with 5 speed tranny converted from an automatic.
what I think it needs:
Change ecu from auto to 5 speed have ecu
install new radiator and hoses
check the 5 speed clutch install do the reverse light wiring
install new muffler with exhaust tips
relocate battery to the front
and of course fine tuning with new injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
I am in alpharetta anyone close by please contact me soon so I can tow the
car or have someone come look at it. send me a message i would appreciate
it someone can get my car up and running at a reasonable charge

Sadly, we have no more Fiero mechanics in the club. Don and Ashby have retired, Lee has stopped working on cars and Whodeanie no longer works on Fieros. We must now either do it ourselves or turn it over to a garage that probably has no inkling of how to work on a Fiero.

That Is Really Sad.
The Good News Is, Most Of The Guys Know How To Fix Their Own Cars.
But Few Know How To Do The MAJOR Repairs.

guys I will be taking my car to another race shop on wednesday and hopefully will get my car running by a gm mechanic and also get some bodywork and new paint done here soon. I will keep everyone posted soon.
Happy Holidays and a wonderful new year!

I wish I was closer, our garage here specializes in Fiero performance swaps and repair. Sounds like you have mostly the remaining tidbit things to do. FYI the factory ECU will run the car, if you can find a manual ECU that will stop the SES light from coming on BUT the auto will run the car if you cant find one.

hey Flyboy how much would u charge to finish my 3800SC swap? All i should need is mounts exhaust belt routing and it dropped in and hooked up. May consider bringing it to ya if you think you can get it done quick :D
Also good luck italy with your swap hope you get it done soon!
-
Do you already have a harness done? Is the engine and cradle currently out? I need to know pretty much exactly where the swap was left off. I can then give you a pretty decent time frame on finishing it IF we don't run into anything crazy with it.

I sent you a PM. Dont want to hog up italy's thread ;)
