New to forum and area, recently got my 2nd '88 GT, sold my first one before kids born and missed it so got my second one while I could. I realize it's basic GM stuff, but I want a mechanic who's familiar with the Fiero so they don't ham-fist a repair. Any good recommendations for the Cumming/Johns Creek area?

We're currently in short supply for Fiero friendly and Fiero knowledgeable mechanics. The only one close by is in Loganville and he's scaled back due to his homeowner's association. I can give you his contact info if you're interested. Shoot me an email or PM and I'll give you his phone number.

Most of us can guide you through many of the repair and troubleshooting issues you'll encounter. Some of us can occasionally give you a helping hand. Owning a 25 year old Fiero requires two things. Ability to repair and Money. More ability=More money. Less ability=Less money. Our goal is to help you to have more of both.
When it comes to the heavier tasks like removing clutches, engines and transmissions, it's best left to someone who's equipped for the task.

Even if he does do house calls, the mileage to tow it back to his shop would be killer!
