Title: SPECIAL ELECTION-BOARD OF DIRECTORS VACANCY

Since Anne will be leaving us in April, we will have a vacancy on the board of directors.  We need to fill that vacancy.  Roger Newton was the only other qualifier when we announced for candidates, last year.

If Roger agrees and there are no other candidates, I would like to propose that we elect Roger Newton to fill Anne's vacancy for 2013.

I was just checking the listing of directors and found that Roger is already one of the directors, so we will need another person.  Duties are easy and require no more effort than just being a member, for the most part.

Normally the directors are elected by the paid members, but if there are no other candidates than Shannon, then the board can probably make the appointment if there are no objections by members for the board to appoint a director as opposed to having the election.  We will need to have a quick board meeting Saturday.  We need a minimum of 3 board members present to conduct business.
