Title: Cars Needed For Movie Casting
Post by: Fierofool on March 04, 2013, 08:11:22 am
It looks like they're casting today if anyone is interested.  If you're selected it pays $600 per day.

Hello Vintage Car Collectors

I'm hoping you can help us. We're casting in Atlanta for Pamela Kaplan Casting and we're seeking vintage car collectors and sports car owners for a national commercial.

We'd love to get the word out to your group. We found you on the web and we're auditioning the week of March 4th in Atlanta. It's a cool project, will pay well and be a fun experience for those chosen.

Pamela always works on great projects such as Old Navy, Apple, Kmart, AT&T and JEEP among others and this will be a fun project for those involved.

Let us know what you think about getting the word out. Any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Leigh

My Mera and I just got scheduled for a casting call this Saturday afternoon, as soon as I'm back from running laps at Atlanta Motorsports Parkway!

Although this means that I'm going to miss our Club meeting at the Galaxy, Saturday is gonna be a Good Day!

THEY ARE STILL LOOKING for owners and their cool cars, and it's at 2926 Piedmont Road (not far off West Paces Ferry Rd), so if you submit now and get selected, you might be able to schedule for just before or after Saturday's meeting...

Have you heard yet if you are picked to do the commercial?

We tried everything to get the mustang ready but the guys with the interior parts can't manage to ever call us back.

My Mera and I "auditioned" but after I found out the client was a large British Petrolium company well-known for the Deepwater Horizon oil rig fire that dumped oil into the Gulf of Mexico, killed a lot of sealife, and put a lot of Americans out of work, I withdrew.

That said, Kaplan Casting treated me (and all the other interviewees that day) VERY PROFESSIONALLY and politely!  I would go back to help them out in a heartbeat.

I thought you were supposed to wait until you got the part before you poured beer over an Englishman.
