I would sell my Indy. It's a DOCUMENTED parade lap car with the original tag receipt from Indiana (tag # 36) & the original sales receipt from when it was bought new, as well as other paperwork/Indy collectibles. It was in the last Ga. Fieros calender (May 2012).  I've heard of maybe two other documented parade lap cars, but have not had any response of proof in my thread at PFF looking for them.
It's a good daily driver in nice shape, a survivor car - not a show car.
I'm not going to give it away, but I'll take a reasonable price for what it is. If interested contact me & I'll explain why I won't post a price here.
You can PM me or email me at ImThaDriver at yahoo.

To complete the car to an actual pace car standard, there is currently available an over the roof scoop and an SD4 with Rousch Racing tags indicating it was a spare engine for an Indy Pace Car.  Sitting on a cradle, ready to bolt in.

I wouldn't ruin a collector PARADE LAP (1 of 200 - of which only a very few if that many still exist) car by modifying it. I'm not sure I would even modify a 1 of 2000 Indy car, since there seem to be few of them left also. If I wanted to replicate a real pace car, I think I would start with a stock '84. There have been enough Indy cars parted out to get the rare interior pieces, & all the other parts/mods (Gt bumpers & ground effects, spoiler, etc.) are readily available.

I don't need the scoop, & sure don't need to start another project car I can't afford to finish. I'm just hoping to get three or four of my current eight projects finished before I die.... ;-)
