Title: Indy scoop for sale- SOLD!
Post by: f85gtron on March 09, 2015, 09:21:48 pm
 SOLD!
This is one of the treasures left over from the stripping party on the 7th.
It appears to be a replica part. Very sturdy. There's no base (just plate cut from ss or aluminum), and just a hinge and latch still attached.
Anybody interested?
Ron

Don't sell it short, Ron.  That's the way the optional scoop was built.  It had to hinge back in order to open the deck lid.  Look carefully inside for a part number.

Couldn't find the base, so you'd have to cut a flat piece to mount it on. More pics.

That's how I remember hearing it described, as well. (With the hinge.)
I don't know if there were any of them sold with a GM part number, or if they were made by Diversified Glass Products (DGP) or later, IRM.
