Title: After sitting for a week, what would cause the fiero to run rough?
Post by: f85gtron on June 02, 2015, 10:01:20 am
A question posed by Pgackerman during a casual conversation.....
After sitting a week (while), what would cause the fiero to run rough (for a bit)?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I sometimes have the same problem with the 86 because it may sit for a month without being started.  I don't know, but I suspect it may be the beginning symptoms of a sticking injector.

My silver one i had for a while, did the same thing when i would go on vacation come back, so would pour some seafoam in it, it worked. after that i just put staBIL in the gas tank for longer periods...might want to put some premium gas, #93 in there and let that burn anything off.

Good idea. Lots of people on various forums swear by Seafoam.
I have had some specific problems that it didn't fix, but they were odd problems anyway. (Anyone who knows me, knows that I come up with the strangest stuff to ask about.) But yeah. I would recommend it.
I've heard good things about StaBil too, but have never used it.
