Saw this on Pennocks. Anybody know anything about these spoilers?

Today, I can't see your pictures or a link, again, so I don't know which type it is.

Two owners ago, my yellow car got a Norm's Fiberglass chin spoiler.  He spent quite a bit of money on it and had it installed.  It was on there a very very short while, like less than a month when it came off while going down the interstate.  Of course, he ran over it.  Said he didn't even bother to go back to see if it was salvageable after hitting it with all 4 wheels.

Something that many have done is to use the bottom part of the Aero nose.  Cut off the ground effects at the break line.  Then the section is turned upside down and the bolt holes are a direct match for the ones already on the car.  This only works for those cars with the Aero ground effects.  If that might be something you're interested in, I have a front spoiler.  Also a rear one that would work the same way, leaving a square opening for the exhausts.

Just got back from Pennocks and I can't see some of the pictures that I could see yesterday.

That is the standard factory issued luggage rack.

Are you talking about the roof spoiler?
I've never seen one like that before. Hmmmmm...

Another unusual feature of the car is the combination of bumper pads and round molding.

Yup. I was looking at the roof spoiler. It's exactly what i was describing to Pgackerman at a McDonald's a while back, but it was an idea, now it's real!

As long as I've been messing with Fieros, I have never seen one of those. I'm betting it's a one-off. Pretty cool.

It would be interesting to see the airflow on the deck lid.  I wonder if that would hinder or aid air extraction from the engine bay.

Funny thing is that until now I couldn't see the picture except on my mobile.  Now that I can see a larger image, I also see that it's not just a spoiler, it's actually a set of rear window louvers.  That makes me wonder some more about interference with the deck lid when it's raised.  With the roofline extension, the deck may bump it.  Even with a normal roofline, the decklid almost hits the roof when fully open.  Maybe the addion of a restraining strap would keep the lid from going up too high.

I like the color arrangement treatment he gave the car.  I've never been a fan of the shadow-striping, but with the other treatments, it looks good.
