We've been contacted about an 88 Duke with CJB t-tops that's available. It's been garaged since 1995 so of course the tires would need to be replaced and a few other items. It was parked because the man's wife became ill and later passed away.
The car has 60,780 miles on it. They report that they're highway miles between Atlanta, Alabama and Florida. They are open to offers on the car. Located in the Atlanta suburbs.

I'm in! How much is asking? Contact info?
-
The man who owns the car is in his early 90's. We got our information from a family friend when we were at Stone Mtn. They are open to offers and will take the best offer. Email sent with your contact info. The family friend's name is Alexander Hamilton.

I WOULD OFFER $ 500.00?
-
Dewey, I'll send him your contact info and let him call you.
-
I'm still waiting on a call too. :(

hey Charlie is this t-top car a serious thing , I mean is there really a chance they would take $500.00 ? I wouldn`t want to get into a bidding war with another member. I also wouldn`t want to pay more then $500.00 it just needs too much work. have you decided with ron how much the club car is going to be to a member?

The only thing we know about this car is what's been posted. The club isn't involved with pricing or negotiations. That's between the owner/friend and anyone interested. Rather than have them register just to sell the car, I offered to forward interested parties to them. I/we have no idea what they would take for it and I wouldn't want to put a price on it.
I'm not sure which club car you're asking about. The Little Duke Coupe Courtesy Car isn't for sale, yet. If you're talking about the Formula Fastback, pricing is up to Ron and Pat. They are the club officers.
We just put a new fuel pump in it and a full set of good tires to replace the old ones that rotted and fell apart. It needs a battery and I haven't gotten an OK to purchase one. I killed my truck battery starting it and had to buy a new one for my truck so I'm not doing that again. The Formula needs it's steering column repaired or replaced before it can be driven. Flops around all over the place.

The owner has finally come across with a price. It's $1000 non-negotiable. Contact Alex Hamilton, a friend of the owner, via email at

Would be my guess.
He posted on FB about being in a "bidding war". I messaged him that I was no longer interested in the car.
Never heard back...
