Title: Everything for sale.
Post by: Tha Driver on February 26, 2009, 05:27:47 pm
I'm just completely fed up with the entire situation & ready to get rid of anything & everything. Make me an offer.

'88 Solo project - GT bumpers & side skirts, scoop 1/4 panels, no roof, lotsa sheetmetal cut out, gutted doors, trick headlights, lightweight steering column, etc.; no rear cradle.
'88 coupe sunroof car, most body panels missing, '84 Saddle interior, no rear cradle.
The custom '88 rear cradle w/new urethane & coilovers (no springs).
Fastback conversion parts. 10 peices: all the major parts for a conversion.
3800 - '95 Buick w/wiring harness & ecu.
2.8 long block.
'86 4-speed.
'88 automatic trans.
410 gear set.
4T60e
16" Racing Power 7-spoke wheels w/tires.
The custom body panels.
Black racing seats.
3-spoke steering wheel & column.
Hood & decklid hinges.
'88 headlights complete w/wiring & box (worked well).
Door, 1/4, & fender ground effects & r. rocker.
Fenders,
L. door complete.
Coupe taillights.
Beechwood steering wheel w/both horn paddles.
NICE brown/tan seat covers w/speaker holes.
Electric mirrors.
Rear spoiler.
We can go through the truck to see what else is in there...

It's an automatic. If it were a 5=speed I could have sold it about a dozen times. I think that if you want an eighty-eight T-Top to build that is rust-free it dosen't matter what trans or engine it has - that all can be swapped out. And of course you could put in the 4T60e & shift it like a manual with a paddle shifter (that is what I had planned for the custom car).
I would build all of these cars myself but - the way things are going - I've come to realize I'm probably not going to live long enough to do so. So I'm trying to get up what money I can to concentrate on one or two main projects. The V8 VW is at the top of the list.

Well the electricity was out for several days due to 8" of snow....  ::)
T-Top roofs sell for $500 to $700, the '88 rear cradle/suspensions sell for $500 to $750, front suspension for around $300. So, no I can't sell the whole car for $500 (besides I'd loose $1200). I'm willing to take a loss to save the car from being cut up, but not that much of a loss.

hey paul you wouldn't happen to have a regular 4-speed transmission for a chevy v-8 would you? i have a young friend who got a 1963 nova with a 350 and a 3-speed on the column. he wants to put 4 on the floor.              oldone in c'ville

Sorry, I've been offline for nearly 6 weeks. Just got back online tonight. Trying to catch up on everything.
I'll try to track down the link to pics on PFF. Not only did windstream screw things up (again! - or yet), I'm on a new computer.
The seats (no pics) are the formed plastic type with black vinyl covers.
The GT bumper is modified.
Thanks,
Paul

Are the 16" wheels still available? Specs?
And where are you located?
I'm also looking for a solid gas tank to fit an '84.
Price? Pics?
Thanks!

Yes I still have the wheels. They are 16x7, & have good tires on them (although the fronts are wider than the rears). I'll take $250 for them.
I'm getting an '84 (Pace Car) thursday to part out. If the gas tank is good I'll take $50 for the whole shebang. You 'll have to pull it out.
