It's still good. Sometimes I go through the different sections to see where the guests are visiting and occasionally I find 1 or 2 at a time in this section. Lots of times, rather than totally rewriting something to answer someone on Pennocks, I just put a link to the advice given here.

Well, we're all really good at giving Expert Advice. The Tech part is usually trial and error.

how can you tell if you have manifold gasket going? which side? or is it a head gasket? no white smoke or sweet smell . also after motor runs for a while hot light comes on, radiator and front hoses and coolant pipes don`t get hot?

Remove the thermostat. If the top rad hose doesn't warm up, it's possibly the water pump.
Take a 2-3 foot piece of heater hose, place 1 end to your ear, move the other end around the exhaust manifolds to search for the loudest sound. It could be the y pipe underneath the shield or an exhaust manifold. Then use an inspection mirror to pinpoint the loud sound.
