Can someone point me in the right direction for an idiots guide to winaldl? I have a cable and adapter but i cant figure out how to get the data. Any information would be very helpful.

It's been a while, but I'll try to help.
You have to choose the correct ecm From the menu, then choose the right com port.  Then try to connect. It's possible that you'll need a resistor to get data flowing on some ecm's.
I'm sure i missed something, but maybe one of those items will get you going.

Ok, i will di some research tomorrow.  Got to try and keep with Charlie today.

If your ECM is stock, it should be a 7170. Or 1227170. (However it's displayed. I forget.)
