One of the most well known NASA pictures is the "Earthrise" picture taken during the Apollo 8 mission on Christmas Eve, 1968. For years, it was a mystery as to which astronaut took the picture, and exactly when it was taken. But now some modern detective work has revealed the answer. Here's a short video about it:
