Title: Blinker stalk replacement

I was just told that the stalk with cruise can be replaced quickly and easily with minor disassembly, by cutting the old cable and using it to pull the new one through.  Anyone tried this?

that works. Only real "gotcha" is the end tends to get hung up. Patience is a virtue in this case. Also be careful not to pinch the wires when reinserting the stalk.

On  the other hand, may as well fix the bolts that come loose.
