Let's start a new topic for RFTH 22 pictures. I didn't take very many, but Fierofool was runing around everywhere, shooting with his Canon.
Anyhow, here's my pictures.
First, cars gathering at the hotel in Clayton...

The linup before the run...

My daughter drove her Hyundai Veloster Turbo...

Who are those guys signing autographs?

Probably filling out their info sheets.
-
Not to put down anyone's Fiero, but that blue Fiero is REALLY sharp. I like the door decals and exhaust tips. Not so much, the steering wheel.
-
My picture set.
The lineup. Yes, it included the Mini S and the Veloster, too.

Some video from Cowspatoot...
-
Well, I recognize Roger & Mrs, Raydar & Mrs, Scottb & Mrs, TopNotch & his brothers, Fierofool, CowsPatoot, but I'd have to guess for the rest. No idea, really.
Looks like a lot of fun, except perhaps for the guy with the Thunder shirt (I think he drives a silver notchie).
Roger was a sheriff?
TopNotch, is that a bee on your hood? I'll take a wild guess that its name is Buzz.

You got the name right, but it's a Georgia Tech yellow jacket.
-
The name guess wasn't very wild. We'd discussed Buzz a while back, and you provided a link to Wiki, IIRC.
I had to guess at the image, because of the resolution.

Roger's Mrs wasn't there. His tag is his radar deflector. Helps him avoid speeding tickets :)
Thunder is olejoedad. No nonsense down to earth guy. He was upset with me.
I'm on my phone. Will edit in names tomorrow.
-
cowspatoot thanks for the video it really looked like fun, wish I could have been there.
-
Yeah. Too bad he was so far back. OTOH, in light of what happened, maybe it was a good thing.

My dad had a decal for something like that. We used to drive one behind the other to walleyball, then I'd drive home separately. After he got a few tickets, he removed the decal.

Yeah, Thunder. No nonsense. I'd say that describes his attitude there rather well.
I have mixed feelings about getting old. Sometimes, I figure that, as people get old, they figure stuff doesn't matter as much, and just move on, until they just don't care enough to live, anymore; other times, I figure that we get old and die because we hold more grudges, because we are unable/unwilling to adapt and change, and because of the loss of old friends.
-
I love getting old. I want to get a lot older. Means I live longer.
-
My family accounted for 5 of the people on this year's run. Hm... We could almost have our own run!

-
Yeah, but that wouldn't have been as much fun.
-
Cool! The pictures were posted here, BEFORE facebook.
-
I have been told that the lady in the SUV that was in the accident on Warwoman Road was treated and released the same day.
-
Fierofool, thanks for adding names.
Robert's Fiero is the nice blue one. What's with Tom's 2-part parking lights? That's Anita's son? They--um--look the same age. So, TopNotch's family pic is 3 generations?
-
All 3 of Robert's Fieros are that nice or nicer.
I think Tom's lights are of the European style, with half being a fog light and the other half being the turn signal.
I'm sure Anita would appreciate that compliment.

No. A different design entirely. Here is the European light:

I'm sure Anita would appreciate that compliment.
Maybe, without the um.
Brian has nice parking light covers. They fit right in.
-
Added one more name. Changed "Anita and Son" to "Anita and Nick".
-
Sorry. Couldn't remember his name.
-
TopNotch, are your brothers in a Fiero club in Texas?

Robert

I'm confused. The car is from Michigan, but the caption says Robert. I though this was Jack's car.
-
Nope. Robert Holtz. See Jack and his white one on page 1.
-
Just wondering, but does the Veloster handle like the Mini?
