I was looking at the Speed Calculator page.
The economy 4-speed shows that it will do 185.3MPH at 3532 RPM in 4th. Wow!
If you change to the performance 4-speed, it only goes 135.2 MPH in 4th. Hmmm.
The Isuzu shows 181MPH, and the Getrag 172MPH.
Maybe it's just me, but I'd have to see these speeds--from a distance.
I was actually trying to figure out good RPMs for a 4T60 transmission.

The truth of the matter is that unless you have some kind of insane horsepower, your top speed will be drag limited.
In the event that you DO have some kind of insane horsepower, the car will start to think about getting airborne at ~135 or so.
(This is not the voice of my experience. It is, however, the voice of Fieroguru's experience. He has the LS4/F40 swap.)

I was more worried about engine detonation.
