My trunk release switch was getting a bit faded. I tried to get a nicer one, but without much luck, so I painted one. My painted trunk switch was OK, except that I didn't get a clean tape on the transparent area, and cut the tape at a bit of an angle. Anyway, I was happy when TFS started stocking their reproductions and bought one.
Here is a stock trunk switch:

Here is the TFS trunk switch:

There is a little bit of green in the grey on the TFS trunk switch. It isn't really noticeable, unless you hold it next to a grey switch. I may post a comparison later.
There was only one problem with this trunk switch:

This is great for Halloween, but not so much the other 364 days of the year.
TFS has assured me that this issue has been fixed, and is sending me a replacement.

Comparison of stock and new TFS switches:

The stock switch is on the left. As you can see, the stock switch has a seriously green tint.

Here is the new trunk switch installed:

As you can see, it's a fair match to the new TFS defrost switch, although not exact in color.
Here is a comparison of the old TFS trunk switch and the new TFS trunk switch:

Here the new TFS switch is the one in the bezel. I'm not sure how the old TFS switch got to be dark and greenish. It could be time, heat, and sun, or that could be how it came. The old one was less than 2 years old.

TFS obviously fixed the issue. Their new trunk release switch looks great at night.
