Title: I'd like to vote

I cast my ballot for warmer weather.  Maybe I'm cold-blooded, but I've had enough ice for this year.  It's too cold to work on my Fiero, or the house.  There is salt on all the roads.  We need some rain to wash the salt away, then some moderate temps.

I'm a native, born and raised about 25 miles closer into Atlanta.  Lived in your town and in New England.  After living in Atlanta for only 2 1/2 years when we married, we returned to Melanie's hometown.  Seven years later, she wanted to return to a place where there were very few long term extremes in weather. 

This past Sunday morning we awoke at 7 to a coating of ice on the trees.  By 10 AM it had melted, the sun was shining and the high temp for the day was 53.  We're forecast to reach mid 60's every day for the next week.

I like snow around Christmas, and a good freeze to kill some bugs.  What I don't like is the up and down mess.  One day, it may be 50 degrees, then in the single digits the next day.  If I wanted that, I'd live in the mountains.

When I lived in CA a bunch of us regularly partied and camped out in Death Valley. It would be about 75 at midnight or 1am, then we'd wake up to a layer of frost at 6 or 7 and it would be 109 by 10 o'clock.

Yeah, not a fan of the desert.
