I need a picture of a nice set of Mr. Mike's recovered seats. Preferably in grey. This will be posted publicly.
-
Mr. Mike's grey leather seats in my silver Formula...

-
Thanks.
-
I need a picture of digital gauges, the sort that BTR resells. Does anyone have such? This would be posted publicly, so it needs to be a picture you took.
-
Same criteria as above, but does anyone have a pic of an F23 shift bracket? I'm looking for a pic of a vendor's bracket, so this needs to be one that you recommend, and from a current vendor.
-
No one?
-
I think Raydar and f85 are the only ones in the club that have the F23 conversions. I don't know of anyone with digital gauges, though.
-
I think Fiero4.3L also has one, although I haven't seen him post for a bit.
-
Mine's not an F23. It's a T550 (aka Beretta Getrag)
-
Yeah, and I'm hoping to get you to do a write-up on that for an upcoming newsletter. I could've sworn that there was a third person in the club with an F23, but couldn't find them today with a search. I had it in my head that it was pgackerman, but that didn't come up. Still, it seems there was someone else on here who is fairly technical, but doesn't make a thing of it, who has an F23.
-
Notmally, I see pictures of warped interiors in profusion, bug now that I'm looking for them, not to be found. Anyone have such a pic?
-
I can give you a shot of the inside of my 86 and some pics of shift surrounds and radio surrounds that I have that are in bad condition. It will take me a couple of days or more. I'm quite busy through the rest of the week.
-
That'd be great!
-
I'm looking for the picture that exists somewhere on here, where Fierofool is getting ready to lead a group of Fieros on a drive. Maybe it was a RFTH. Fierofool is driving his GT. I've read that thread twice in the past, but can't find it, now.
I'm also looking for new content. Things that are happening now. For example, when working on club cars.
-
Anyone have the original of this picture?

I think it's from RFTH 11
-
I have it and several others. I'll email them shortly.
-
Thanks. Whose Fiero is the gold GT in front?
-
That is Spirit. Jack Cooke. One owner 86 GT with a crate 4.9. Always a show winner.
-

I found a cropped (close-up) version of the pic I remember. RFTH05
-
I didn't make the first RFTH until #8. I remember two similar pictures. One, I was in my first 85GT and we were based at the Comfort Inn in Dawsonville. The second, we were based in Franklin, NC, and it was the Burgundy 87GT. Those pictures are on floppy disks and I don't have a drive.
-
Maybe I got my facts wrong. The pic is RFTH05, but it dhows the year as 2007, which does not match up.
Here is the pic I found today, but not the version I remember:

I remember it being in your burgundy Fiero, in a parking lot, now that I think of it. I recall there being other Fieros in the picture, as well.
-
We had previously discussed the floppy drive. I sent you one. Due around 7/20. Just plug into the USB port on your PC. You can give it back to me when you see me.
-
Yeah, the other one was at Franklin, in the Fun Factory parking lot. It was a foggy morning which might have shown in the pic. I have some pictures of that location, but someone else took the picture you're referring to. I think it was captioned something like 'Head 'em up, move 'em out" or "Charlie says Move'em out."
-
Yes, but I can't seem to find it using that text. I have included fun factory, franklin, and other search terms, and came up with nothing. Was it an RFTH?
-

By floppy drive do you mean something that can read a disk that looks like a save button? Cuz I have a reader.
-
Bring your floppies to the meeting, and I will transfer their contents to CD.
-
I probably have more than a hundred of them.
-
Magnetic media, such as floppy disks, degrades over time. If you ever want those pictures, they need to be converted ASAP.
-
By floppy drive do you mean something that can read a disk that looks like a save button? Cuz I have a reader.
Yeah. The floppy drive used to be the A drive on most PC's. The disk was about 3 1/2 inches square.
Converting them to CD doesn't guarantee longevity, either. One of the problems I've found is that Windows software programs change over time and will no longer read older CD's. I had some CD's that I had recorded many years ago that I had to throw away for that reason. No need to keep something that's for all practical purposes, blank. Maybe flash drives would work better, except there's no really good way to label them with their content.
-
The picture you're looking for may have been lost on the old message board. I searched RFTH's 11, 14, and 17 and found TopNotch's photos in the Fun Factory parking lot, so he may have been the one who took the picture you're searching for.
-
Flash drives are still magnetic media. Those CDs could have been recovered. Often the drive hardware is the issue. Depending on whether or not you used CD-Rs, the write speed, and the software, the hardware may not be able to read that format.
I see that the floppy drive was delivered. I call foul. I used the same Amazon account, with the same options, and it was delivered in short order. Were it coming here, it'd have been weeks.
-
Yes. I got it. I didn't know you were sending a new one. Can I pay you for this or would you like to have it. Now I have to find all my floppies. Not sure where I put them.
-
Just return it when you see me. Should give you plenty of time to get those floppies converted. I didn't have one, and never got around to ordering one. I hope it works.
-
I've looked all over and can't find the floppies. Hope they're up in the storage unit. While searching I've found other things missing, like a Panasonic VHS-C camera and a 35mm Olympus camera. Bags are there but cameras are missing. I know they aren't in the storage unit.

Who has a stock 4-cylinder?
-
Who has a stock 4-cylinder?
Well... THAT was out of the blue. But I have a stock 88 4 cylinder. Why?
-
Sent you a PM. Not so far out of the blue, as you'll read.
-
I need a picture of the CTS, fan switch, and cold start injector switch on the V6 for the newsletter. Preferably one picture showing all 3.
Also, does a manual-equipped Fiero have any sensors or switches that the automatic does not?
-
I also need a pic of the slave cylinder.
-
Anyone have a picture of a Dodge Stealth or a 3000GT?

Here's another
http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/139741.html
4-speeds have a backup light switch on the shifter instead of in the transmission. That's the only one I can think of. I'll take a picture of a Muncie and Isuzu slave (same slave) and a Getrag slave tomorrow. They are used, dirty, and out of the vehicle if that's OK.
-
That's fine.
-
I need a picture of an '85 brake master cylinder. It's a particular picture I need, so if you have an '85 and are willing to get me a picture, I'll send you a sample of the pic I need.
-
I'm trying to get a picture of the wiring on the starter solenoid. I think this is impossible from the top, if everything is assembled.
-
Will a picture of a starter help?
(Later model starter on top. Fiero starter on bottom. Both work on a Fiero.)

-
I can provide a picture of the end of the starter and solenoid, out of the car. Wiring can be described in your article.
-
I think I'll have to have a pic. Maybe I can get a pic from underneath the Fiero.
-
Hmmm. My wiring is not stock, so that won't work.
-
I need a picture of the water separator, or whatever the silencer for the air intake is officially called.
-
I scanned through the parts barn pictures and didn't see one in the lot. That's something that would need to be out of the car to photograph, wouldn't it?
-
No. I removed the wheel well liner and crawled under there. Mine is not stock, though.
-
I need a picture of what is in this illustration.

The catch is, it needs to be a stock ECU.
-
Not a picture, but I need a measurement of the diameter of the brake vacuum line that goes through the cabin, on a pre-'87 Fiero.
-
Pat, thanks for bringing your silver Fiero and letting me take pictures.
-
I always need pictures. A picture of the clutch arm would be great. I'm trying to illustrate where the arm gets bent, which I could also use some help with.
-
I need a picture of a saggy spoiler.
-
I have a saggy spoiler but it's not on a car. Would that work?
-
Sure, if you can get it by itself. I need to be able to see where the spoiler begins and ends.
-
I'll call you tomorrow to see just what you need.
-
Whenever you're ready.
-
Thanks, Fierofool. Those pics worked very well.
-
Does anyone have a picture of a faded front side marker?
-
I'm also looking for a picture of the trunk light switch on a V6 notchback. Such a pic would need to show the surrounding area, also.
-
I got a few faded markers. Front? Rear? Left? Right? Fastback? Notchback?
I think you're wanting the pushbutton type light switch mounted on the left side of the trunk wall instead of the latch mounted switch? It would need to be from an 84 or 85. 86 Notchbacks had the latch mounted switch.
-
Front side marker. Either body style, eigher side.
Yes, the pushbutton type, from an '84 or '85. V6, though.
-
While we're at it, I need a pic of bad clearcoat.
-
I've got lots of that, too.
-
Normally, I would type, "You da man!", but this isn't really a point of pride.
-
Ron768 has an 85SE V6.
-
Yes...
-
I've got lots of that, too.
Thanks. Those worked great!
-
I need a pic of a stock headlight hinge.
-
Headlight door hinge, or headlight bucket hinge?
-
Ah. Both, if they are stock.
-
Ok. I got pics of the hinges.
-
I'm also looking for a picture of the trunk light switch on a V6 notchback. Such a pic would need to show the surrounding area, also.
Got this, also.
-
I need a picture of a saggy front fascia.
-
I'm looking for transmission pictures. Muncie, Getrag, 125C, and Isuzu. Probably also the F23. Preferably uninstalled. The F40, also, but no one in the club has one of those.
-
There was a thread on PFF that had pictures of the different transmissions. If nothing else, locate it and get permission to use their pictures with credits. We don't have any transmissions in the barn. Mike may still have the old Isuzu he took out of the AeroDon car.
-
I looked at that thread. It is great. I was trying to use different pictures.
-
Anyone have a pic of a VSS, installed, on a manual Fiero gearbox?
-
Not the season, yet, but I'm planning ahead.
I need a picture of a Fiero with a peach tree (with peaches on it). Obviously, that's July or so. Ideally, such a picture would be taken in the morning, when there was dew, and the sun would be rising.
-
I need a picture of an pre-'88 cradle, uninstalled. I know there are pictures, but they aren't mine.
-
I have one, give me a few days as I will need to dig it out of storage.
-
That'd be great, thanks.
-
Somewhere, there was a picture of all three manual shifters. Not the one with the cut down shifter. I saw the picture, somewhere, but cannot find it. This particular picture had the shifters side-by-side, obviously removed from the vehicles.
-
The "Duke of URL" comes through again. This is from a link on my captured copy of the Fiero Sails site. Fortunately, the link is still good. Bottom is 84, middle is 85, and I think the top was introduced in 87. I have an 84 shifter with Rodney's shorter boot on my t-top car.

-
It just shows me a tripod image.
-
Copied picture to our site...

-
Thanks.
-
I need a specific picture of 3 Fieros. If you can help, I can provide details.
-

I have no idea if I can help, but I have 3 Fieros, counting the parts car.
-
I sent you an email with the specifics. I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Any luck with the picture?
-
I only have one Fiero these days that can go any distance. Another that could be located to the street in front of my house if necessary. But my parts car ain't going anywhere, and it's covered with mold anyway, so not photogenic.
-
Hmmm. Can anyone else help with this?
-
I also have 2. Let me know what you need and I'll try to help.
-
Email sent.
-
Thanks for the pics. I thought I had thanked you, but maybe not.
-
I need 3 pictures, actually: a fair condition Fiero, an average condition Fiero, and an excellent condition Fiero. These pictures would just be of the outside of the vehicle. I realize that the exterior of a Fiero tells little about a Fiero.
-
I am looking for pictures of the various Fiero scoops, what they are called, and where the scoops can/could be obtained. Any additional comments on pros/cons, install, etc would be appreciated.
Such scoops would include side scoops, fender vents, extractor scoops, hood scoops/vents, decklid vents/scoops, and over-the-roof scoops.
-
Tha Driver has a selection of scoops. NoMad has a decklid scoop. I think Budgetman72 has hood vents.
-
Yeah, and the GTRS guy has a set of side scoops. I believe Raydar has a set or two, as well.
Did Sarge have a set of side scoops?
-
I think TopNotch also has a set of side scoops.
-
According to sage on Pennock's, my scoops were made by a guy in Florida who used to make them for the Fiero Store, but that was a long time ago. Sage makes something similar.

These scoops were at RFTH, and the car owner said that they aren't made anymore either. He said that they were poorly made, and required a bit of work to make them fit.

I think Jimmy made your set.
-
Sorry. Overlooked this thread for a while.
IMSA quarter scoops. Made by Sage. (These are the same scoops that Fiero Warehouse used to sell. Sage did all the production for Fiero Warehouse.)
I also have a set of these for my other car, that have yet to be installed. I can get pics of those too, but they're nothing special. Just look like white gelcoat scoops, instead of painted scoops.
.jpg)
This is called the "Universal STM" scoop. Same design as a Mustang scoop, but sized to fit the Fiero decklid. Made by Paul Angel (ThaDriver)
-
Thank you both.
-
Somewhere on here, there should be a picture showing the back of a Fiero, with the Fiero in a parking spot. I found one with a Fiero backed into a spot, but I need it pulled in.

Just to clarify the difference between portrait and landscape:
 Portrait |
 Landscape |
-
What if you take a portrait photo of the landscape?
-
Those are formats for orientation, showing common uses. I was trying to clear up confusion.
-
What if you take a portrait photo of the landscape?
Then would that be at a 45* angle?
-
🛢🐝
But I could take a photo of a portrait of a landscape. But do I take in landscape or portrait???
-
Is this helping our readers?
-
They say laughter is the best medicine so probably.
-
I don't laugh when my kids do this.
-
So I’m assuming you are laughing now then since it’s me.

Just don't paint the result as that would be a .... I'll get my coat.

Nothing to do with the picture above, but a few words on picture quality. Generally, pictures on screen or printed must be high resolution, or they look terribly. The image quality is in that high resolution. Pictures sent via text lose a lot of quality. Unlike posting on the forum, I encourage newsletter pics to be high quality, to prevent blurring and other quality issues. Obviously, pics don't need to be 23Mb each, but a 3-5Mb JPG is typical.
