Scott, this link doesn't work.  You need to post the public link.

That's an F355 bumper?  Not the front one, surely.  Nice paint job.

Strange ad.  Beautiful write-up, lousy pictures.

Looks like a door cover is missing, no shots of the engine or interior.  Headlight covers aren't finished, etc

And the car still looks good!

This car is FABULOUS!  Notice the one-piece top: spent a LOT of time 'glassing that in & finishing it out - made it soooo much better than any other chop-top I've seen. The blue is gorgeous. I've shot a LOT of blues in the nearly 50 years I've been building cars, & this is BY FAR the prettiest blue I've ever seen.
The car just needs to be put back together & finished out.
Wish I had the money to buy it. Also wish Scott had the time & money to finish it so he could keep it. He's going to regret selling it...

As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
You still owe 894 words.  :)

The car looks good, but up-to-date photos would be nice.

Those photos are from last weekend. Hope that is up to date enough. ;) Like Paul noted, the car is all there and the body/paint/windows/etc are done. There is zero rust.

The 355 bumper is the rear bumper, the Whodeanie design, as seen in the pics on the craigslist ad. Here is the correct Craigslist ad link: https://athensga.craigslist.org/cto/d/chop-top-1988-fiero/6600891047.html

My guess is Paul is correct about the possibility of regretting the sale later. However, we have not had any time to finish it up in a few years. A decent hobbyist should be able to complete the interior and the final checklist with a good 5-6 days of playing in the garage. It needs small things like the passenger door skin installed, the headlights have been wet sanded and buffed but need to be polished out. As noted in the ad, the car comes with the bubbled headlights that were sold on PFF a few years back.

Happy to answer any questions you may have but ask that non-serious inquiries please indicate the interest is as such. This would be greatly appreciated as work is crazy and time with my lil family is very precious (as I'm sure your time is as well). Thanks again Fiero friends![/img]

We may be better off figuring out how to post pics here. The ad on CL generated SO many tire kicking emails. Many were simply folks asking what a chop top was, saying the color was a bad choice, or even blocking the ad as a scam noting the price. We have sold a lot of cars on CL but that was a bit too much effort to respond. We are at the point we need the space more than we need the car and will let it "return to the Earth" if nobody wants a chopped Fiero for the price of a quality paint job. :) The good news is we landed another trailer and it is stored safely there for now. :) I am stunned nobody wants a VERY nice and CLOSE to driving chop top v8 Fiero for this price point. Aside from a fairly narrow market fr custom Fieros, I am wondering if the interest in Fieros has centered back to more original examples over custom. Not sure. :)

We may be interested in a solid driver for trade (complete car that can reside in a carport over garage space).

I agree.  Not only would it be good for your sale to have the images posted, after the sale, it will be good for people to look back upon.

You can use the instructions here (http://www.gafiero.org/bbs/index.php?topic=438.0).

If that doesn't work, send the pictures to the club email, and I'll post them.

Personally, I think a lot of the difficulty that you are having, is that people can't imagine a "finished" image of the car, based upon the pics that you provided.
I have seen a ton of choptops, and even I am having a bit of trouble picturing a finished piece.
That's NOT on you, however. You have posted the most accurate pics that you could. Nobody could ask for more.

Thanks for all the input and support! Radar, I think you are spot on; a lot of folks cannot imagine the finished product. We have chatted about finishing up the body and interior to help folks "see" it. Figure a solid two or three days and it will look complete. Even thought about swapping in a complete and running 2.8/auto just to make it a driver.

Thanks again and, for now, we will hide her away again. :D

I'm glad it sold. I'd have hated to see it parted out, or weather-beaten.
