I saw a Fiero with most of the roof missing. The roof had been covered by a tarp, but the tarp was mostly loose, and blowing in the wind. The Fiero itself was parked in the weeds, but it looked as if someone cut the roof out with a sawzall. I had figured the center T should still be there, so am not sure what they were trying to accomplish.

There is no center T on a stock Fiero. The center T is part of the T-top conversion kit. See this document (https://gafiero.akroncdnr.com/docs/T-Top.pdf).

Hmmm. If that Fiero site out there much longer, it won't be worth completing the conversion.

Maybe the owner A) botched the job, or B) decided to use a different car.

Maybe. The house is in disrepair, and there are several other apparently non-running vehicles in the yard.
