Title: Trickle charger

Well, my Fiero was on a trickle charger.  Unfortunately, the trickle charger succumbed to the cold.  Anyone else experienced this?

Well, the charge circuit works, except that no power gets to it.  I suspect the diode that is all black is the problem.

I've never used a trickle charger on anything.  My chargers have both had 2, 12, and Start Assist settings.  Both of them also had automatic cutoff when the battery was fully charged.

Well, I have a better quality charger, now.
