Title: Trade defrost backglass for standard.
Post by: GMguy1987 on August 09, 2009, 07:18:02 pm: Hey guys. I am in need of a plain backglass for my 87 GT. I have a good rear defrost glass I will trade straight up for one. Any takers?? I live in fayette county just south of ATL. Y'all let me know.

I have a 84 parts car that has standard glass. I need defrost glass for my 88 formula...cops made me remove the window tint. It took off the defrost lines.

So the cops MADE you take off tint that is NOT ILLEGAL???!!!
I'm getting goddamn TIRED of the cops in this country acting like the GESTAPO!!! THIS IS NOT GERMANY!!!! You should have told them to kiss your ass!!!
I'm also getting tired of being harrased myself, & being DENIED DUE PROCESS IN COURT!!!! It's happened THREE TIMES now - where I was NOT ALLOWED TO PRESENT EVIDENCE or even PLEAD MY CASE AT ALL. This SH*T has GOT TO STOP!!!

Post by: cogcaviz24 on August 17, 2009, 12:05:45 pm: chill paul LOL. i think he meant that they gave him the option to pay a fine or remove the tint. it's pretty common. which all he had to do was remove the tint on the door windows, the law does not apply to the back window( or any window behind the driver's head on other vehicles).

i have 35% on the doors and 5% on the back and quarter windows

RIGHT! So they had NO RIGHT to MAKE him remove the tint on the REAR window!!!
And no I will NOT CHILL when my CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS are being VIOLATED!!!! >:(

Post by: GTRS Fiero on August 05, 2019, 10:40:31 pm: Off and on, I have considered replacing my rear window. It looks difficult to me, but I have heard reports of this being done in 30 minutes. Unless the decklid is removed, I have no idea how.
