I talked with Ronnie F. the other day. He has a red spoiler that appears to be in good condition, with good stands. Paint is "driver quality".
He doesn't know if it's for a GT or a notch, but it looks like the stands have two holes towards the back, so it might fit either.
He was unable to log in to post it himself.
Told him I'd post it for him.

He's asking $100.
He can be reached at "seven-oh-six---two-oh-two--three-two-five-four"

That may be what pgackerman is seeking.

Username Ronnie is still active. Is he sure he was using the correct password?

Can someone chime in on the differences between Notchie and GT? Obviously it must be very slight differences if even Raydar can't tell the difference, at least from pics. I consider Raydar to be very knowledge by the way..........
He is a GURU on late model Honda V6 timing belts

Just the broad strokes that i have, but the mounting is different. I was only looking at things from the gasket viewpoint, but the mounting holes for the wing stands are different. The wings themselves I believe to be the same. Some people have made a wing from a notchie work on a fastback, or vise versa, but there are structural pieces that make this difficult.
-
Those wingstands are currently set up for a notchback, but were probably originally on a fastback, because one has than black piece on the back.

I think the earlier wings (84 and 85) only had two holes in each support. The later ones, since they had to adapt to both types, had three holes in each support. The studs were screwed into one rear hole or the other, depending upon what was required.
And I know waaaay more about freakin' Honda timing belts than I ever really wanted to. :D

I put a fastback stand on a notchback wing. Like Raydar said, the studs can be moved to the other hole. It's already threaded.
That extra spot isnt a stud. Its trash of some kind.
These stands aren't universal because there's no recess for the stud flange.

So would that make them earlier notchback stands?

I'm not sure. Stud spacing on my 86SE is about 4 5/16 to 4 1/2 inches. The stand base is about 7 inches. The wing I have in the storage building came from an 86GT and the spacing is the same as the 86SE and the stands are identical to the red ones shown.

Hey guys and gals. This is my wing for sale.
I had to figure out my password.
The wing is in good shape. Could use a repaint , course most would do that anyway to match your car.
The stands are good. Didn't know which car they fit , but the stauds can be moved to whichever holes fit your car.
Just want to sell it. $100 bucks OBO.
Can call me at 706-202-3254
I'm located near Athens.
I also have a good silver hood with headlight doors. One door has a scrape on it. Best offer.

Bumping this for Ralph.
I don't know if Ronnie still has this wing or not.

Thanks Raydar! I’m trying to contact him now
