I'm going to have to strip "Kermit" for parts due to not wanting to pay to store it anymore. I can combine those parts with my 88' sc3800 and make a presentable car. If I strip it completely including the front suspension and rear cradle how do I dispose of the metal skeleton? Cut it up for scrap? Will a scrap metal buyer pick up the remains?
Maybe Scottb can chime in on what he is doing for the car we strip next month.

The front suspension and all coil overs are going to GTXVette. I'm going to use the wheels and body panels. The doors are up for grabs and the rear cradle. I believe the motor mounts have been removed from the cradle for an engine swap. It has a Firebird steering column up for grabs too.
Fierofool has been nice enough to let me store the "AeroDonamic" car at his place. Next week I hope to get the car to his place and bring Kermit to my house to strip.

The Fiero frame apparently cannot be crushed, so must be cut up. Here, if you can get the metal to the scrapper, they take it.

Mike, email Tha Driver. He can tell you. Did you get anything from Ben giving you ownership?

No.....But he doesn't want it and possession is 9/10's of the law. Did I get that right?

Paul knows the process.

I winch them up on the trailer, scrapyard pulls them off with a skid steer..... go to thr bank with a small check

What's the story on the windshield? Still on the car?
If you want to leave the shell here I'll take it. You could leave the cradles/wheels on it to make it easier to move, & pull them here. I have the tools to make it quick to do so.

The windshield is busted. When we were moving some tires around on the storage rack a tire fell and hit the hood and bounced up into the windshield. My kinda luck
-
My understanding is the windshield was custom but it does have numbers printed on the glass in the same place as other cars would have.
-
If it is an 88 rear cradle I would be interested.
-
It's not an '88 cradle. I was told it was before I drove up and got it.....
-
Paul I may take you up on that.
