Title: Which is with which?

When young boys and girls would date?  Usually, one was referred to as being "with" the other.

Well, some guy asked who was with the Fiero.  The Fiero in question was mine, so I said it was with me.  He smiled, and said, "No, you're with the Fiero."

Which leads to my question.  Are you with your Fiero, or it it with you?

Next time just say "When we're together, we're one and the same."  Then they have no argument.

Technically I would say the car is with you since it couldn't get there on own.it's own.
