You probably should take the Fiero for a drive, first, to make sure there will not be any issues. If anything bad happens on the first trip, you'll never hear the end of it.

Actually, no. My wife and have never ridden in my Fiero together, and my Fiero has never had any real issue on a trip.
Just a friendly word of caution. I didn't want to clutter the other thread, and it seemed as if it was a good idea to make a note of this for future readers, anyway.

GrannyLinda rode with me in Fieros many times, and even tried driving one once. Not easy for someone with limited mobility.

My understanding was that she couldn't get into a Fiero, but that was probably later years.
My post was directed at first-timers.
