Is it just me, or do some LED's blink? Maybe "flash" is more apprope. Whatever the term, I see the LED's rapidly cycling on and off.
-
With cheaper made LEDs, the solder bond between the LED and the substrate can break with age. When that happens, they will flicker.
-
That may be, but I'm seeing the flickering in the LED's on brand new vehicles. It's particularly annoying at night.
Yes, thanks. "Flicker" is the word best suited to this.
-
Watch the first minute of this video, for an example.

Yes. I noticed that earlier this week. There was a late model SUV behind me and it had a string of LED's coming down one side and underneath the main headlight. They weren't what was flickering. It was the main headlights. Then I saw another one later on that I was meeting that was doing the same thing. I thought it was my double vision trying to act up.
-
Isn't that annoying?
-
Once again... Fonts matter.

Fonts?
I should have stated that I meant LEDs on vehicles, microwave displays, and the like. Sometimes, even LED TVs.
As new lights go in, it is difficult to read things, when the overhead lights appear to be going on and off rapidly. Surely, that's also bad for my eyes.
