This will be our 3rd annual fall cruise and it should prove to be our best yet. I've put Rick and Derek in charge of the route. Rick has told me he already has the course set up and it will include Tennessee and North Carolina. The roads were taking this year will zig zag back and forth across the boarders up in the mountains. He's going to make sure there's ample gas stops and a resturant to eat at and a motel close by for those who have a long drive to the start. I'll post more when I get it.

Robbie,
Any dates or starting location as yet?
-
Starting location is in Greeneville, Tennessee. Haven't set a date yet.
-
Georgia Fiero people, this is a good area for a beautiful fall color cruise. What say we give some support to the ETFC club to repay them for their participation in so many of our events? As long as it isn't between Oct. 17 and 24, I will be there. Anyone else want to join me? Maybe go up and get a hotel on Friday and Saturday night?
-
I would love to go... I need to ride with someone though, since mine is still drying out , & probably won't be on the road till spring......
-
OK, the date is set for October 17th., Rick said the trees are just starting to change and should be in full color in 2 weeks. So get your rides ready and lets have fun. We'll meet at the Walmart in Greeneville at noon
Charlie I know you said your going out of town but we have to catch the colors while their there.
-
You don't have to drive a Fiero, cause this is a cruise. But we do get excited when we see curves, so you might want to drive something that can keep up.

We have rescheduled the cruise for the 24th due to the rain this weekend
And we've moved it again. Instead of Saturday the 24th it'll be Sunday the 25th. Their calling for rain all day Saturday but sunny all day Sunday.

Best Fall Cruise yet. I would nominte that cruise as a run in the RFTH's. Too bad there were only 3 Fiero's and a Trans Am. Lincoln from Greeneville made it to the cruise in his white 84 3800 turbo charged.

Yes its an 84 with 18" wheels.
-
There was one curve that we went into that was so tight that everybody's car had trouble keeping traction. Rick said he drifted around the curve, Lincoln said when he turned his steering wheel it took awhile for his front wheels to take hold and turn, and my cars front wheels slid around the curve and almost clipped a motorcycle coming the other direction. It was a right hand curve that was posted at 10 mph and we hit it pretty fast. Great ride, I will run it again. Some of the curves reminded me of Fort Mountain and some of the Dragons Tail. Derek said Jaimie was screaming.
-
Derek and Jaimie showed up after lunch, Derek had to work this morning but still came. Derek drove his Trans Am. Rick drove his 85 GT and it handled beautifully. I took my gold 86 GT and Gail rode with me. We didn't have any problems except the day wasn't long enough.
Great job Rick and Derek.
