Title: Belts outside

Other outside.  I've seen some belts that seem to have been installed wrong side out.  For example, AC belts with the slots on the outside.  Any idea why?

I don't know the reason, but I've seen some like that in the past.

Looking online, it seems that that's how some belts are designed.  Odd.
