Nice!

I wonder how it rides on those tires.

I'll be in the area mid-March.

Hope it's sold before then.

Why?  It'd be a blast to drive, or fun to see.  Just be up front about your intentions.

He's added more photos.

Basically says he has too many toys.  Sent me pictures of his 'main' Fiero with a V8.

Thats a nice car. Could be a good deal for someone depending on what he would actually let it go for.

There aren't any used car guides for '86 Fieros with engine, transmission, and brake swaps.

The work appears good.  Don't like the center console, lack of floor mats, or 92,000 miles.

Given all the info in the ad, what's the appropriate price range for this vehicle?

When I don't like things on a potential vehicle purchase, I subtract from their asking price what it would cost for me to fix those things.

Swaps are expensive to have done correctly.  Figure what that swap is worth to you, divide by 2 (value minus costs for issues), and add to the value on the paulv chart.  Subtract $500 for not being stock.

If we can't agree on a price, I walk.

What does that come to in dollars using the paulv chart?

$3,400 from the chart.  All other calculations to be made from there.

In the day, a 3800SC swap with automatic transmission upgrade would run $6-8K
