I cranked up the Aerodonamic car right around sundown to let it run for a while to keep the battery up. I let it run about 5 minutes and when I walked around and checked the engine the exhaust manifolds were a glowin. I've heard of it but never seen it in person. With the little bit of light available they really stood out! I have read on the boards that manifolds glowing in low light isn't unusual but it sure startled me. I need to see if I'm running lean.
If you are nor familiar with the car:

So, running a bit lean. You can run WinALDL on it, to check the AF ratio. That may explain why it was dying.

At night sometimes you can see flames shooting out too if you lack full exhaust, pretty cool. I would also guess lean. Do you have a portable A/F unit that clips to the tail pipe for diagnostics? I don't think they cost too much anymore.

Retarded timing can also cause the manifolds to glow.
