Title: Jack Stand Recall
Post by: Fierofool on April 09, 2020, 07:52:09 am
Harbor Freight Tools is recalling 454,000 Pittsburgh Automotive 6 Ton Heavy Duty Steel Jack Stands, part number 61197.  They say the lock doesn't sufficiently engage the ratchet teeth and it may fall.

They are replacing the stands with a gift card equal to the current shelf price of the item.  Contact your Harbor Freight Store for return instructions.

I had a pair of the 3 ton, they were crap.  I gave them away for scrap, they would fall if you looked at them wrong (really just a bump would do it) just having a rear end not attached to a car stored on them.

Typical Chinese made crap...
When will we ever learn not to buy anything made in china?
