Just found that Rock Auto has new Brass/Copper heater cores for both AC and non-AC equipped Fieros. Reasonably priced. I would stay away from the Spectra brands. The aluminum core they produce is undersized. I expect that a new copper/brass core would be the correct size.
If you need one, or just want to put one on the shelf for the possible future need, get 'em while they got 'em. I've always had good service from Standard Motor Products and that's the one I ordered.

Where did you find that. Maybe I looked in the wrong place. I have the ADPI (or whatever) core. And the Spectra, and the Harrison.
-
Unfortunately, I have the undersized Spectras in both cars. I have at least 1 rebuilt Harrison and 2 or 3 Harrison's that can't be repaired cost effectively.
Here's the link for the Rock Auto find.

Which is the SMP core?

I started a comparison article, more than a year ago, but never finished it. Maybe next year...

Thanks. Let us know if this core is the right size, or not.

I received the heater core today and it appears to be of decent quality. It is all new material. There are no scratches or dents on it to indicate that it may be a rebuilt core.
But just like the others, it's about 1/4 to 3/8 inch short.

I was afraid of that. I have an article on heater cores, and could not find one that was the right size.
