For those of you who are past RFTH participants, how do you feel about going back to Clayton, Ga., again? Following one of our old routes until we get to the Jukebox Junction restaurant in Canton, NC where stopped before, then taking some roads we've never been on. We will return to Clayton, same hotel we will leave from.

It would be new to me, I'm good with it.

A loop? It certainly would seem to simplify lodging.

I thought we decided a straight shot? But I’m good with whatever. Restaurants and lodging may change based on deals I can broker.

I had no idea there were special arrangements with the restaurants. Just a question. For the restaurant, is it more important to have a restaurant at a good price, or have the restaurant be something awesome? When we visited North Carolina, we ate at restaurants that were memorable. I think we paid $12 per person or so. Unfortunately, we at a meal at some Mill House, and had a long wait.

If you want to end at a different place, let me know where and I'll see what I can map out.
I have usually planned American Comfort Food lunch stops. Lunch needs to be something light due to bathroom availability along the last portion of the route. It also needs to be food that can be quickly prepared for the group as time is often a factor.
