Title: Engine confusion continues
Post by: GTRS Fiero on February 27, 2021, 09:09:40 pm
Somehow, the LA1 was confused with the L32.  There is no 1994 LA1.  I'm not sure how such a mistake was made, although they both have a 3.4L displacement.

Looks as if they got it sorted.

This guy has been all over the map with this thing. Kind of like a squirrel on acid.

The easiest way would be to swap in the Camarobird long block, move the starter, and bolt on the Fiero intake and accessories, like we have been doing for years. Lather, rinse, done.
Lou Dias' method will work, too, but jeez... He's reinventing the wheel.

Yes, there are several erratic people over there.

I'm not sure how the engine confusion happened.  I went out of my way to document the engines--including those two.

I have no idea why anyone would put the 2.8 iron heads on the 3400 block.  Either run the 3400, or don't.
