Before introducing myself I would like to say how lucky I was to find this club.  I reached out to members with questions on my newest acquisition before I became a member.  You guys have been great I totally appreciate all the help so far.

My Name is Jimmy and I recently inquired a 1984 Fiero Se. Automatic with 113K miles.  Drove back from Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago.  Below are some pictures.

Things I noticed on my drive down......
A) Headlights have been hacked, have no relays.  (thanks to Charlie and Ralph on sorting that out)
B) key broke in drivers door
C)Gas Tank stays pegged to right side till I have 2 gallons left, then it goes crazy and pegs on E.
D)Lot of Air Noise coming from back of sunroof when latched, noise coming from side it latches (new seals needed???)

My goal is to get this running to Daily Driver shape.  Also plan on some mods like the LED Tail light that I came across on this forum. 

Quick question:   What's the story on the fiero cloth on what I thought was the glove box (ripped that whole panel down tugging on it when I first got into the car)

If you want to try swapping out instrument panels, I have a couple of 84 panels.

Haa what a brilliant time to buy a fiero and be called Jimmy. 

The latest DRC was a tough one though. :0)

Welcome.  If you look in the December 2020 newsletter, it covers the dash map pockets.

That was an 84 map holder or owners manual holder..  The elastic eventually sun rots and it gets floppy.  That section doesn't open.

Rut-roh. First I've heard of that.
Actually about the only posts I've seen that he's made have been this thread (which I missed, first go-round.)

Jimmy, I seem to remember that you are on the southwest side. Sort of. Kind of.
