Title: Rodney retiring
Post by: GTRS Fiero on May 29, 2021, 09:30:32 pm
I saw on Rodney's web site that he will be retiring in 2022.  He plans to have a retirement party next summer.

Details here (http://rodneydickman.com/product_info.php?products_id=533).

I hope that somebody that is as upstanding as Rodney buys the business from him.

Yeah....

His verbiage makes it sound as if it's a certainty.  Maybe he knows the buyer, already?

TFS came to mind.

I may have mentioned it before but I once phoned and placed an order with Rodney and he sounded really tired.

It wasn't later in the day that I realised that I had forgotten about the time difference and it was about 5:30am!!

Will have to get a whole grrrt big shopping list for the stores before Rodney retires!

Will be a sad day and wish I could make the farewell! ʕ´• ᴥ•̥`ʔ

When I saw that page, I told my wife I was going to Wisconsin, next year.  Of course, mych will depend on the timing.  I could likely drive out one day, and be back the next morning.
