Had no pressure, added 1 can of freon/sealer and 2 cans of freon. Appeared to work fine. Went to drive it today and it was blowing hot air. Checked the pressure and it was all over the place and blowing hot air Ideas?????

Did one of the cans have dye in it? If so you can check for leaks. But it may have too much air in it. Might needed to be vacuumed. But only speculation without being their with my gauges

No I just used 1 can of freon/sealer and 2 freons. Do you think a can of dye would show. I would expect if I had a leak there would be no freon in the system. I can't see why it has the pressure but no cold air. The pressure should mean it's not leaked out. Unless there is a blockage?????

Release the pressure and take out the orifice tube. If it's clogged with black junk, you will have to get a new compressor, accumulator, and orifice tube. Then flush the system, put it back together, pull a vacuum on it, and add new refrigerant.

Without a set of guages it's impossible to tell what the problem is: could be too much air, could be a bad compressor, could be clogged orifice, could be too much oil, could be compressor not coming on
-
Could also be too much freon. Will not allow for the needed pressure differentials.

Thanks for the input. Now I have to go find the one problem and how to attack it.
