Here are some pictures from this year's Run For The Hills. (And let me say for the record -- it just ain't the same without Charlie.)tly
I arrived at the hotel in perfect weather, but apparently not many Fiero people like this hotel. I think only 3 showed up here

But there were plenty of Valkyrie bikes. That intake looks like a Truleo intake for Fiero V6's.

Gathering for the run Saturday morning

Lunch stop at Jukebox Junction

At the hotel after the run

On a tight curve, a car coming from the opposite direction was partly in my lane, and when I swerved to avoid them, I went off the road into a very soft, muddy shoulder, and messed up my car. The air dam came off on that side, and I tied it up with zip ties for now.

Looks like a good time was had, sorry I had to miss this year.
(Pat, that will buff out 😜)

I'm sorry I missed, as well. After events of Friday, my heart (among other things) just wasn't in it.
One of my old Pennocks buddies (Blackrams/Ron) was one of the Valkyrie riders. I was supposed to look for him. He was probably checking out the Fieros.
He sold his last one (a 3800SC Formula) only a few weeks ago.
I'm happy that y'all had a good time.
Pat... I'd have been real mad. Maybe would have even given chase. You're a better man than I.

I didn't get his name, but I might have had a good conversation with him Sat morning. He was in the lobby with a Valk shirt and Fiero jacket. We talked about our Valkyries and Fieros, and our bikes and cars in general. Really enjoyed it.

i was briefly stuck in mud, and while it wasn't hard to drive out of it, the time it took no doubt gave the other car time to get pretty far down the road.
Once i got going, I noticed a shake in the front. It turned out to be mud that got forced into the tire bead area of the right front tire. When I caught up with the others (They had pulled over), we were able to pick the mud out with screw drivers, and that cured the shake.

Well... I'm happy that you didn't get hurt or suffer any more damage than you did.

Today I went to the hardware store and got some speed nuts and appropriate screws, and secured my air dam properly.
On the run, I noticed a strange sound happening at times, coming from the front of my car. It turns out that the bearings on the radiator fan were galling. I found one good fan motor in the parts barn and replaced mine. If you don't know what galling bearings sound like, watch this video.

Wreck it Ralph posted some nice pictures on Facebook. For those of you who don't do Facebook, I took the liberty of downloading some to post here.

Looks like some great scenery! Wanted to go with everyone but just wasn't in the books for me. Hopefully next time.
