The GT was produced from 85-88 with 140 HP, not 145 though one year was listed as 135.
The 4-cylinder was only 90-something HP, not 138 and even the 3.4 Camaro/Firebird engine doesn't produce 180 HP.
The Fiero wasn't intended to be a cheap sports car.  That was how it was marketed to GM but that wasn't the underlying intention.
The Fiero wasn't one of the last Pontiacs made before they went out of business.  Production of the Fiero ended long before that.
The GT wasn't the only model to get the V6.  The SE and Formula also came with V6's and the 85 and early 86 had Muncie 4-speeds before the Getrag was introduced in late 86.
All years had 4-wheel disk brakes though it might have been the first to get them added to the rear.

There is so much absolute crap published about the Fiero, by click-bait websites, whose writers actually have no idea what they are talking about. It's really amazing.
My all time favorite is "The Fiero was powered by the FWD Citation drivetrain, flipped 180 degrees and installed in the back" comment. Followed closely by the "Suspension by Lotus" comment, that just refuses to die.
