I couldn't get tickets to any of the HipHop clubs or Raves, so I went to bed about 11:30 New Years Eve and listened to only a minimal amount of neighborhood fireworks at Midnight.  New Years Day, I cooked a traditional New Years dinner of collard greens, blackeye peas, and cornbread and dined with my daughter and her family and one of my brothers.
