Hey gents! Sorry I’ve been a bit scarce these days. New baby, bought a house, moved into that house, and new job have all had me tired up a fair bit.
But, I’m going to be going full steam into the Fiero again soon.
I have decided to shift gears on it and go with my 3800sc swap instead of using the 3.4 I have.
So, I’m trying to sell off the 3.4 I have, which has been rebuilt and balanced. With it, I have BOXES of new parts spanning from the Fiero store, rock auto, Rodney dickman, you name it.
If anyone is interested please let me know! Will gladly send a couple pics of the boxes and engine. Just let me know!

Does the 3.4 use the Fiero's distributor?
-
Yes. Same block as the 2.8 but because it originally came with a coil pack ignition, it has a port for crankshaft sensor ignition if you desire to go 7730. I was running a distributor for years until I converted.

I have a 7730, but still have the distributor; which went out when I was taking the car to be in a music video. Much money to fix on the road. So I'm thinking about distributorless ignition.

If you have a Moates adapter in the 7730, you're part way to changeover. Only thing is we are sold out of the digital EGR adapters. The machine shop still has the CNC program, but I suppose it would be a little pricey for just 1.
Do you know what car your ECM came from? It's important for some of the sensors. You would also need to upgrade injectors. After several sets, I finally found the right ones.
I know a good man to do the conversion for you.
BTW, you can't run a coil pack on a 2.8. It doesn't have a port for a crankshaft sensor. You would need to convert to the 3.4.

or just stop running the EGR all together......just saying.... ;)
