CANCELED---DUNWOODY PINES SENIOR LIVING CENTER FREE ENTRY---CANCELED
Dunwoody Pines Retirement Community 4355 Georgetown Square, Dunwoody, GA 30338
Father's Day Classic Car Show and Cookout, located in Dunwoody, GA. scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 12 Noon to 2 pm
FREE ENTRY AND FREE COOKOUT FOR PARTICIPANTS.
We haven't done any charity last year. Maybe we could make a sizeable donation to this senior center.

This is close to me. I used to do one for several years in Sandy Springs at Somerby Senior Living as well, though it did not happen last year. If I do not get a call from them again I will go to this one.
-
Bring a flathead V8 and a mid-engine V6 along. And yes, this is only about 2 miles from you.
-
Ms. Cudger has notified us that she has canceled the car show and cookout due to insufficient response. It was my understanding that we were the only club.
-
Well... phooey.
-
Since it has already been approved, should we still make the donation? Anyone want to go along if we do?
-
I'm okay with still making the donation. It will hopefully make at least a few peoples' lives a little better.
Do we need a "delegation" in order to do it?
-
I would prefer to have a few people with me. We could even do a mini car show for them. We could still do it on the same Saturday June 15.
-
I will go with whatever the club officers feel appropriate.
-
Most centers have a community center or dining area where they have their meals if it's assisted living. I could set it up so we have lunch with the residents and make the presentation at that time and let those who want to see the cars. I'm sure they would provide a free meal for us. They have a huge dining hall.

OK, last call. Will anyone be going with me. I need to schedule this with Ms. Cudger. Saturday, June 15.

Bummer its been canceled. If anybody is looking for something similar to do on this Saturday the 15th my friends over at Chamblee Classic and Custom Car Club are putting on a show with a band at an old folks home. You can find the details under shows here: https://c5carshows.com/
