I was just headed to Athens traveling east on GA316.
I noticed a cool looking car I did not know.
All of the car was low profile. Thought it was a Mazda, then maybe a Peugoet.
I got a good look at the hood badge (Lion Head), and SS on the back.
So google found it for me.
It was a Gray Holden Commodore SS.
One bad ass looking car!

That car uses the L76 6.0 Liter engine. That's a lot of HP for a car that size. Was it a right hand drive?

I thank so, then again I only got a quick look at it while it passed me.
Dark tinted windows.
It had a GA tag.... So I will keep an eye out for it in the future.

Holden had a version similar to that little Chevy pickup, too, with the same V8 engine.

Its a Pontiac G8 GT I know. I have one. On the G8 board a lot of the guys replaced the Pontiacs badges withe Holden ones and put the front and rear difuser on them. to make it look like a Holden. I have to admit it is a very fast car for its size. Could have also been a G8 GXP those have the 6.2l 415 hp motors.
