Title: help with headliner

Hey everyone, I am back to work on my car again. I am trying to put the headliner back in and can't quite figure out how the headliner and the sunroof latch come together. If someone could take some detailed pictures of that detail and put them up here or send them to me it would greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scott

Thats funny...I just did mine this past weekend.

The only thing that holds the headliner to the sunroof hole is a piece of stripping that goes around the hole.
The way that it works is that you carefully go all the way around the hole inserting about 1" of material into the gap between the guides(most are chrome). Then you reinsert the stripping. Going all the way around. Start at where the sunroof latch will be mounted. Make sure to press the stripping all the way in so that it pinches the headlinner to the guides. Also make sure to press all the way in each corner as you go...if it isn't tight the headliner will not stay nor look right. After going all the way around then you mount the sunroof latch...it covers the gap of the stripping.
